This page contains links to the songs I've recorded - the quality is somewhat hit and miss, particularly as I cannot sing (and have found out how difficult it can be to make a good mix-down). But I also think there are some decent songs here and there, which would have sounded rather nice, had they been recorded by a better musician.

Things will get better

A song about staying optimistic despite it all, I remember this song coming to me after I was playing 'Isn't she lovely' on the guitar, which has a couple of chords I don't normally play. And suddenly I had the beginning of a new song, which developed over the next weeks.

Posttraumatisk Far-Syndrom

The title means 'post traumatic dad syndrome' and is a song I wrote in a period when I was feeling depressed. Being a father is the best thing that happened to me, but it's also been hard and difficult in ways that are hard to put into words (and it's still so taboo to talk about). Being a very personal song is probably also why the words came to me in Danish.

Come have a drink with me

Written around the time of the Covid-19 outbreak, this song came to me when playing around with a D-chord on my guitar. It's rare that I have fun with backing vocals, but this one I actually enjoyed (maybe because I didn't take it too seriously).

Livet går videre

The song came to me, as far as I remember, when I was playing Lennon's 'Working Class Hero' with its simple bass line in an A minor chord. The lyrics are loosely referencing reflections on my mother's death and some of the feelings this has sparked over time. Another example where the personal connection dictated the language of the song.
